The Seed is part of a seven-piece collection featuring selective techniques within a limited scope of hues and shapes found at the macro and micro levels in nature. Inspired by nature's design, these elements have been applied in various scales and points of overlap exploring the very groundwork of how the world around us is made.
From the artist;
"The Seed
We reap what we sow. This has been on my mind for quite some time. I have a personal mantra that one can only find truth for themselves and must allow others to find and live their own truths so long as they don't seek to harm others. What a debate we could have over the meaning of harm.
AI is here, and I believe it is here to stay. The consequences vs added value, the fight vs the inevitability of it all, etc. can be debated all day long. For myself, I can only control me and what I do. I do not like AI, and I do not care for digital art as a whole - though I do not disregard the skill and effort of those artists. I desire the tangible.
It was the same when digital books first arrived. I cannot debate the convenience of them, and yet, they do nothing to fill that same rush of pleasure in holding a tangible book - the smell, the feel, even the look of ink on paper. Nothing compares to the impact of a physical work, to the presence, the soul of items created by hand. To see the imperfections, to feel the artist's efforts - it is irreplaceable and unreplicable.
This is what I want to sow. This is what I want to reap. So I plant the seed with my efforts and then watch it grow. May you reap what you sow."
